Purpose
- Untagged full-length cDNA clone from Human ARHGAP32 is ideal for over-expression of native protein for functional studies.
-
Specificity
- Restriction Site: NotI-NotI
-
Characteristics
-
- These cDNA clones are isolated from full-length cDNA libraries and usually contain the coding sequence as well as the untranslated regions (UTRs) of the mRNA transcript appropriate to the library from which they were isolated.
- These cDNA clones are ideal for over-expression of native proteins for functional studies. Provided as 10 μg transfection-ready plasmids.
- Every lot of primer is tested to provide clean sequencing of cDNA clones.
-
Purification
- The DNAs were purified using PowerPrep HP Plasmid isolation kits for transfection ready plasmids.
-
Components

Background
- RICS is a neuron-associated GTPase-activating protein that may regulate dendritic spine morphology and strength by modulating Rho GTPase (see RHOA, MIM 165390) activity (Okabe et al., 2003 [PubMed 12531901]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008].Transcript Variant: This variant (2) lacks multiple exons in the 5' UTR and 5' coding region and has a unique exon for its 5' UTR, compared to variant 1. These differences cause translation initiation from a downstream in-frame start codon. The encoded protein (isoform 2) has a shorter N-terminus which lacks phox homology and src homology 3 domains, compared to isoform 1.
