Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is an experimental technique that uses polymerase enzymes to amplify specific genetic sequences that are flanked by a set of primers. PCR amplification can generate thousands of copies of a specific genetic sequence relatively rapidly, making it an ideal tool for identifying and studying specific mutations in the genetic code. PCR assay kits contain the reagents necessary to amplify a specific target sequence from genomic or plasmid DNA and rapidly identify the presence or absence of a well characterized mutant allele. PCR assay kits may use allele specific primers (recognizing only a specific mutant allele), or post-amplification RFLP (restriction fragment length polymorphism) to characterize the alleles present.
High-Stability PCR Kit contains Green Taq DNA polymerase, 10× Taq buffer, and Stabilized dNTP Mix, 10 mM Each, all specially formulated for increased stability using our proprietary technology.
EasyPure® Genomic DNA Kit provides a simple and convenient way to isolate high quality genomic DNA from a variety of mammalian cells, tissues, E.coli and yeast.

MutaGEL® r-Calcitonin test kit allows the detection of the codon changing DNA variability (C→T mutation, Pro463Leu polymorphism) in the gene of calcitonin receptor (CTR) which encodes for the corresponding protein involved in bone metabolism.
MutaGEL® Parodontitis PCR Assay kit allows the detection of a selection of up to three from the five major pathogens (Porphyromonas gingivalis, Tannerella forsythensis, Fusobacterium nucleatum, Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans and Prevotella intermedia) leading to chronic parodontitis, agressive juvenile parodontitis and necrotic ulcerative gingivitis. Matrix for this analysis is bacteria-DNA isolated from gingival pocket.
MutaGEL® Lactase (AS) kit allows the detection of the common -13910 T/C polymorphism in the lactase gene by direct allel-specific detection of genotype.
MutaGEL® Collagen test kit allows the detection of the regulatory variant (G->T mutation, Sp1-polymorphism) in intron 1 of the type 1 alpha 1 collagen gene (COL1A1) encoding for the alpha 1 (I) protein chain of type I collagen, the major protein of the bone.
MutaGEL® HLA-DQ 2+8 PCR Assay allows the detection of the genetic profile determining human HLA class II serotypes DQ2 and DQ8 (MHC system). This is done by detection of specific HLA-alleles coding for DQ2 resp. DQ8 (DQA1*05 + DQB1*02 and DQA1*03 + DQB1*0302) - but exclusively in the allele combination leading to these haplotypes (DQ2 resp. DQ8). This kit is not for single independent allele typing (and not comparable with photo-typing method).
MutaGEL® Prothrombin PCR Assay allows the detection of the G20210A mutation within the 3’ UTR region of the prothrombin gene (human coagulation factor II). This mutation is related to a big amount of prothrombin in plasma.
MutaGEL® ApoB100 (Codon 3500) is a RFLP-coupled PCR test kit for the inspection of codon 3500 of the human apolipoprotein-B gene, with the purpose to detect DNA base G (normal) or A (mutant), causative for tanslated arginine or glutamine at this position in the ApoB100 protein.
MutaGEL® MTHFR kit allows the detection of the most common C677T polymorphism of the human MTHFR gene encoding for the enzyme 5,10-methylene-tetrahydrofolatereductase. This mutation causes the substitution of alanine with valine within the enzyme (Ala 222 Val).
