-
Characteristics
-
- These cDNA clones are isolated from full-length cDNA libraries and usually contain the coding sequence as well as the untranslated regions (UTRs) of the mRNA transcript appropriate to the library from which they were isolated.
- These cDNA clones are ideal for over-expression of native proteins for functional studies. Provided as 10 μg transfection-ready plasmids.
- Every lot of primer is tested to provide clean sequencing of cDNA clones.
-
Purification
- The DNAs were purified using PowerPrep HP Plasmid isolation kits for transfection ready plasmids.

- ZNF43 (Zinc Finger Protein 43 (ZNF43))
-
Alternative Name
- ZNF43
-
Background
- This gene belongs to the C2H2-type zinc finger gene family. The zinc finger proteins are involved in gene regulation and development, and are quite conserved throughout evolution. Like this gene product, a third of the zinc finger proteins containing C2H2 fingers also contain the KRAB domain, which has been found to be involved in protein-protein interactions. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].Transcript Variant: This variant (4) differs in the 5' UTR and initiates translation at an alternate start codon, compared to variant 1. The encoded isoform (2) is longer and has a distinct N-terminus, compared to isoform 1.
