Purpose
- Untagged full-length cDNA clone from Human SLC22A23 is ideal for over-expression of native protein for functional studies.
-
Specificity
- Restriction Site: NotI-NotI
-
Characteristics
-
- These cDNA clones are isolated from full-length cDNA libraries and usually contain the coding sequence as well as the untranslated regions (UTRs) of the mRNA transcript appropriate to the library from which they were isolated.
- These cDNA clones are ideal for over-expression of native proteins for functional studies. Provided as 10 μg transfection-ready plasmids.
- Every lot of primer is tested to provide clean sequencing of cDNA clones.
-
Purification
- The DNAs were purified using PowerPrep HP Plasmid isolation kits for transfection ready plasmids.
-
Components

- SLC22A23 (Solute Carrier Family 22 (Organic Cation Transporter), Member 23 (SLC22A23))
-
Alternative Name
- SLC22A23
-
Background
- SLC22A23 belongs to a large family of transmembrane proteins that function as uniporters, symporters, and antiporters to transport organic ions across cell membranes (Jacobsson et al., 2007 [PubMed 17714910]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008].Transcript Variant: This variant (2) contains alternate 5' exon structure and it thus differs in the 5' UTR and initiates translation at a downstream in-frame start codon, compared to variant 1. The resulting isoform (b) has a shorter N-terminus, compared to isoform a. Both variants 2 and 3 encode isoform b.
